Hello friends, family and passerbys! I had the best time spending 3 weeks in Ecuador. I only had time to see Quito and the Galapagos Islands. I did manage to learn some spanish and meet a lot of great people. Please feel free to email me with any questions/comments/suggestions.

Quito Apartment bathroom I just had to take a picture of the tiny bathroom that Andreann and I shared. There was about 2 square feet to stand on.
Quito Apartment bedroom Here is my bedroom in Quito. I slept on the bed near the window. Note the see through curtains. It was a lot of fun changing clothes!

Rio Amazonas This is the one of the main drags of Quito, Rio Amazonas. There are lots of commercial buildings mixed with tons of tourist shops. I walked on this street everyday to get to the Mariscal area, aka Gringo-landia. It was so fun walking on this street because there was so much to look at!
La Sala The internet cafe that I sent many a emails from. I came here every day I was in Quito. Very comfortable and a very fast connection. It was .80/hour!
Evelyn Since I was there everyday, I befriended the girls that worked there. This is Evelyn, she helped me a lot with my Spanish and telling me where to go, what parts are safe, etc. She is the main reason I have pictures of Quito (Other people have told me that it's too dangerous to carry a camera)!
Evelyn and I Evelyn and I posing for the camera.
La Sala The outside of La Sala. When I left Quito, they were shut down for a few days to renovate it, so it doesn't look like this anymore!
Posada Del Maple This is the Posada del Maple, the hostal that I stayed at during the end of my trip. It's a very nice hostal and I liked the area that it was in, close to everything! Many americans stay here.

Quito Quito is surrounded by all these high hills. I think that's what makes it so picturesque.
University I passed by this University everyday on my way to and from school. It is the only public University in Quito (I think that's what someone told me).
