Long walk through Caldwell

Elevation gain: 600m = 600m

I walked from Steve's place south into Caldwell and thence down to the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge. It was a bit under 14 miles. I started a bit before dawn and enjoyed seeing the sun rise. Downtown Caldwell is really nice and it was fun walking through some older neighborhoods. A lot of people have RVs or campers.

Later, I climbed a hill and reached more barren country, though ingeniously irrigated.

Steve picked me up at the Refuge, thanks much!
