Thompson Peak with Friends

Friends: Steve, Ever
Location: Thompson Peak
Elevation gain: 1200m = 1200m

With one day to do something big for the three of us, Steve and Ever opted to climb Thompson Peak, partly because of my urgent recommendation! I thought they'd enjoy it a lot. Ever also likes to climb highest summits of an area, and this is the highest peak of the Sawtooths so there's that!

The drive is long, but the hiking to high alpine country not especially exhausting. Then, the cross country travel above the lake is continually interesting, though the final boulderfield can feel tedious.

On the summit block, I ended up taking a different route further around left with a few low-fifth-class moves. Fun!

On the way down, Ever gave me advice on some relationship quandries. It was very helpful. Thanks Ever!
