May, 2007: Hi everyone. This is my archive of mountain trip reports. For a while
I tried using a wiki for this, but it was very slow and ultimately no fun.
So I'm back to plain ol' html. These days, I post a lot on summitpost as mvs,
and (very) occasionally write in my blog.
I'm just a fella who fell in love with the mountains. I like to trail run, climb
rock, snow and (rarely) ice. I like to wonder about the peaks, how they stood
before we were here and what they'll be like when we are gone. Below is the
fairly complete record of my journeys so far. I've lived in Munich, Germany since
2005, but before that lived in Seattle, so most of my trips are in the Cascades.
Enjoy browsing the pictures and reports, I hope you find them useful!

(March, 2008) This page will be going away. I have had mixed feelings for a while about putting up
so much detail about climbs, especially those which don't have a lot of beta already on
the web. Also writing TRs has gotten a little stale - I find myself using the same
phrases over and over! In the early years I felt very strongly that I was providing a
great resource to folks, but now I think the need has diminished a lot. So my motivation
to keep it up to date has decreased. I'm still going to write up my TRs, but just for me
and friends. As things start disappearing from here, you can send me a mail if you want
a copy of something. I'm making PDF files of the content.
